“My name is T.J. and I am the Senior Project Manager for Steel Technologies, Inc. Steel Technologies is an intermediate steel processor with 14 facilities in 9 states and Mexico.
In 2005 we received ‘capital monies’ approval to add a tension leveler to our existing pickle line at our Ghent KY facility (3985 US 42 West, Ghent, KY 41045).
As part of that project, we hired Rademacher Industrial System (940 Martin Luther King Blvd., Farrell, PA 16121) to do civil engineering, concrete foundation work, mechanical installation, electrical installation and the hardware and software integration.
The contract amount of Rademacher’s scope of work within this project exceeded $1,200,000.
The schedule for this particular project was very critical because we were upgrading an existing line that was in full production (24 hours/day, 7 days/week). We came up with a very aggressive schedule to get this done. I am very pleased to say that Rademacher “stepped up to the plate” and completed their scope of work ahead of schedule. They also competed their work within the dollar amount that was originally quoted.
We have also used Rademacher on some smaller jobs that turned out on or ahead of schedule and on budget.
In my opinion, Rademacher is a well-managed company with talented employees. Their field supervisors and other on-site employees are safety conscious and they conduct themselves in a very professional manner.
Rademacher Industrial System will continue to be right at the top of the list of contractors that will be considered on future projects done by Steel Technologies.”

“Rademacher Industrial System, Inc. (940 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Farrell, PA 16121) was contracted by The Worthington Steel Company to provide technical expertise, labor and project management for installation of a Stamco slitting and package line.
Rademacher’s scope included civil engineering, excavation, foundation construction and equipment installation. Upon completion, the line was turned over to Worthington Steel to commence startup of production. The contract amount for this project was $910,500.00. The project was performed at our Worthington Steel facility (1127 Dearborn Drive, Columbus, OH 43085).
The project was executed in a professional manner with frequent communication and coordination at both the work site and with Rademacher’s business office. The work area was cordoned off and normal operation of the facility continued throughout the project duration. The quality and timeliness of the work was as expected allowing the line to startup according to our schedule, as has been our experience on previous projects with Rademacher.
